As suggested by one of the other members on here, I thought I would open up this thread as a place for all new members to drop by and introduce themselves
I'll start!
My name is Laura, but my Pagan name is Phoenix Rose - I am a primary school teacher and I have been exploring the path of Paganism for over ten years now.
I look forward to getting to know you all.

hi everyone, my name is nita and i've lived in medway all my life. only recently been starting to ask questions about life, universe and everything. i find that paganism keeps coming up in search for answers so thought i would have a look around and see what's out there near me. havent yet made it to a moot, but honestly quite nervous about going as i feel like a total novice! spoke to laura (above) on the phone and seems lovely and welcoming tho, so might make it to the samhain ritual. if i feel brave, lol. anyway, thanks for setting this up, i hope it answers some questions for me, and i hope to met some people in the same situation as me.

hi all....i came to paganism in the middle of particularly long fruit loop episode a few years ago where i found the original kent pagans website. They being a wonderful group of people helepd me through a tough couple of months and via their forum introduced me to the co founder of the medway pagans - laura...we hit it off quite well at a yule dinner and realised that appart from the rochester moot (which at the time seemed to be non-existant) we north kent and medway pagans had nowhere to go and meet and as laura is a tad persistant in her endevours :o) we started this wondeful group of like minded followers at my local R.B.L. club. during this time we have been welcomed with some humor and wonder by all who use the club and even joined by a few club members at some rituals - (the beltane and mid-summer ritual being the most attended). So due the respect we as a group have for the R.B.L. gave ourselves the title of THE POPPY KINDRED and will be present once again at the annual rememberance day parade where we get to lay a pentagram wreath in honour of our pagan service men and women. but now a bit about me..?? well!!??.....what can i say????... love the fact i can share my birthday with people who just so happen to be right on my wave length...in my own path i have a teacher who is training me to astral walk and having been on a few journeys with friends and laura being one of them can say i will try my utmost to aid anyone who needs to leave this realm for a short while and recharge whatever essence they require a boost of either via a short walk or from the infamous moo hugs i give away. and now on a personal note i'm completely and utterly mental!!!!!..no honestly i really am!!!!!!!!!.. encourage peace love light in your life and heart and live the life you love and love the life you live )O(

Hello my name is Gareth im rather shy when it comes to meeting new people but love to listen and learn from like minded people, its only been recent that i have started to follow the pagan path but would love to learn more and meet people who can show me the way. I love nature animals and feel energy very strongly and have since I was a very young age. I have tried the whole church seen and it was not for me I dont believe the words of the bible at all but dont hold it against any body who does it just feels like a way to control people to me, I like to be out doors were i feel most comftable and sorrounded by entities and enrgies you have probbaly noticed i cant spell very well lol I never took to well to what i was being teached at school and found it hard to pay attention, i would of rather been walking the woods or following streams to see were they took me. im very glad i found medway pagans and will look forward to future meets so untill then blessed be to all that reads and those that dont

Hi, I'm Kate and nurse by trade. I stumbled upon paganism at quite a young age (13 maybe 14... not too sure). Anyway I've been through studying hard to nearly giving up trying to learn as a lot of the books really just say the same thing, there is only so much book learning one can do. However, as I have always felt a pull in the direction of this path and now that I am old enough not to be turned away or thought of as "it's just a phase" I'm trying to branch out and meet new like minded people. My main problem is my shift work... I love my job, I hate my hours

i would like to welcome gareth and kate to our happy little kindred.. keep a check on all events in the new coming year as we are hoping to go to a few places to do some rituals - i.e.coldrum stones... shifts can normally be worked into our moots as we will not be following the strict 1st wednesday of the month as is still listed in the pagan federation site as this ment we missed out on some influential dates and lunar times, so we decided as a group to have moots as close to these events and sabbats as possible and once again seemed to have managed this for next year 2012..also there will be a trip to stonehenge for the summer solstice as it will be my 40th birthday on 21st june..so hopefully you can come along.. anyhoo for now its a warm welcome to us and blessed be until we meet.)O(

Hello, I'm Helen and I've joined today. I've been a pagan for a few years now but since moving to Kent and having to leave my group of friends behind I have lost my way a little and need to re focus. I am hoping that I can come to a meeting in the new year and I can stop floundering on my own. Helen
